Dr. Rahni Koturaj (TCM)
Dr. Rahni Koturaj (TCM) is an AHPRA-Registered Acupuncturist who completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture at Endeavour College of Natural Health. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association. Rahni has a keen passion for acupuncture and Chinese dietetics, utilising both in most of her treatments.
Rahni is passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and can be booked to speak at workplaces, sporting clubs and community groups.
Rahni utilises a number of methods in her treatments including acupuncture, Chinese dietetics (how food can be used to assist the healing process), electro-acupuncture, laser acupuncture, ahshi (myofascial trigger point) acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS), Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, ba guan (cupping), guasha (scraping), tui na (Chinese remedial massage) and moxibustion (heat therapy).
While trained in treating an extensive range of disorders in various body systems, Rahni developed a particular passion for women’s health, fertility, pain management, injury and rehabilitation, digestive disorders and allergy management. Rahni has a gentle but effective way of working with the body and a talent for resolving the issue at it’s root cause.
Rahni uses an evidence based approach to formulate custom treatment plans for her clients. She takes into consideration both internal factors (hormonal balance, stage of life, diet etc) and external environmental factors (climate, season, stresses etc).
Regular hours for Rahni are: Monday to Friday 10am – 7pm.
